I started off happy with my lack of tiredness, but that only lasted until I started running uphill. On the hills I could feel my dwindled strength. I managed to get myself to Center Trails to test them out - some mud, some perfect, most in-between. I was still tired but the trails made the run more interesting and I was happy to discover I'd be closer to 9 miles than 8 once I headed back.

The return trip, though rough at first, started to feel truly pleasant and I picked up the pace. First time in awhile that I really just wanted to cruise and my body was willing. I was even hoping I'd meet up with Hazard (biking) before the last hill just to bust loose. Instead I did 5 striding strides.
