***Stig was nice enough to pace me for my record attempt and he was fit enough to get through halfway in something like 3:05. But once I heard that I blew by him as I had some work to do. Unfortunately I still didn't push hard enough as I closed very quickly (maybe a 31sec last lap) and was still about a second and a half off the record (3rd all-time). I wish I would have figured out my splits and known what I needed to do.
