A workout! I wanted to do one all week, mostly out of impatience, but also to do a true stress test to see if things get worse. My achilles felt great yesterday, and I was a bit annoyed to wake up tighter today, but it actually felt great for most of the run. Still not unnoticeable and probably still affecting my stride slightly, but no pain until the end.

The plan was 800's at 5:20 pace, maybe 5:30 since the air was feeling very heavy with humid. That sounded too prologue-y so I switched to 900's just to be weird. I started with my usual 400 to feel things out, that was 82 so that dictated the pace for the rest of the day.

900's all about the same 3:03, 3:03, 3:03 (started a little slow), 3:01 (and started a little fast). Finished with another 400, faster in 73, and 2 ~20sec uphill sprints (feeling the achilles more on the uphill, though maybe more due to being 6 miles in). Short cool-down on grass just to get to 7.

I'm happy with this. Objectively not an impressive workout but I feel I'm certainly on the upswing (unless I feel re-broken tomorrow). Legs felt really good, aerobically feeling weak.
