Notes
As we left the crag, we saw some mountain bikers and it soon became apparent that they were in a race. Since I could only find 1 parking lot for the trails, it wasn't too surprising when Pollux called saying said parking lot was packed to the brim.
We (Pollux, Odin, Emma, and Rebel) opted to go back to where we found the trails yesterday, but I should have remembered the signs that indicated that the race would pass there too. For a couple of miles, we ran in the same direction as the bikers and it wasn't bad. We finally diverged but it didn't last long as we found them again.
We basically gave up on the run then, and unfortunately, the trails got even busier. We spent a good couple minutes just standing around. The last few minutes involved many sprints to gain ground while we can, also some bushwhacking. Somewhat fun, but I would have rather had an uneventful run.
