Notes
In La Crosse and hiked Hixon Forest yesterday (with Naomi, Hazard, Logan, and ARLO!!). It was a pretty cool place so I returned for the run. Perfect conditions today: overcast and high 40's; long sleeve but no need for gloves.
It was closer to 2miles to run there from Naomi's mom's place than the 1mile I predicted, so I didn't quite time the necessary bathroom stop. Upon arriving, I kept to the flattest and widest trail. I still progressed pretty slowly though as it was slightly uphill and perhaps tired legs. After 4miles, I was pleasantly warmed up and started tackling the lower trails. Lots of fun had in just a few miles. Definitely coming back here.
