1.47.37 - 1.45.41.......real nice, organized marathon. weather was cold at start, foggy. mile 10 or so, sun came out...was chilly throughout. was told about first part of downhill marathon...took it real easy, went to bathroom twice on first half. it was more gradual downhill than expected. second half was more level, couple rails to trails...mom and dad suprised me along trail portion. Caryn, of course, was seen at 7.7, 16, and 20. legs felt good on later part of race. hill at mile 24 wasn't bad...the gradual hill climb at mile 25 was tougher. legs felt fine, quads not bad at all! felt good after race, legs not to bad. overall, good run. will work on pace and get better!..........legs were good the next day, not real stiff.
