a great day to be outside in the woods...started off really easy, ran with Jen Henry, Gary Bowman, Anne Weaver, and met Gary Knipling. at the first mountain climb(mile 9 or 10?), I broke away from them. i looked at my watch at mile 17 and couldn't believe i still felt really good. i also met Brian Carr and ran with him for the last few miles. we saw a porcupine climbing a pine tree. overall, a fun time with all my trail friends.
