Notes
a mix of single track, double wide, and paved trail through flat, hilly, weedy, rocky, wet terain. nice area along the potomac river. turned around at Great Falls. overall fun race. garmin watch was roughly 2 miles off. thought i was at mile 21 when actually was at mile 19. camelbak leaked all water after mile 19 rest stop. stumbled over rock which caused Camelbak tube to come apart from inside. gradually got warmer as morning/afternoon continued. was tough towards end but overall fun trail marathon. met, shook hands with, and got my picture taken with Dean Karnazes. Caryn had fun too!
