2.05 mile looped paved path in Williamson, WV, ran a loop, walked a loop and stuck with that plan for much of Fri night and into Saturday....had the opportunity to run on grass....light snow, wind Friday night, turned nice on Saturday and Stayed nice on Sunday...temp Saturday was 48, Sunday high 60's...nice weather. great set up for a race, food was good, but at some points, went into the Armory and there wasn't much food. other times they had , chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, lots of sweets, bagels, waffles, etc...my Jeep was parked right along the course and could get to it anytime during the race...slept 1 hr. early Sat. morning. then got a hotel room Saturday night between 7pm-5am Sunday morning....walked much of Sunday....met Rhoda Smoker, Brooke Schell, and Chris Young and hung out with them...overall very pleased and liked the set up. would love to do the race again.
