5:45-6:16.....an out and back course. a beautiful and cold day..a few long, steep climbs. i felt good and took it easy going out. from around mile 15 to 18, we were on a dirt road. we then climbed and was on jeep/fire roads that were very rocky. i also felt good on the way back, but the pounding of the rocks started to take it's toll on my knees and feet. the final mountain climb was tough, but i was pleased how i felt going over it. i finished strong, running up the blue moutain parkway for about 2 miles to the finish. overall, wanted under 12 hours, but pleased with results. it was tough. 95 started the race..i was 37 out of 50 finishers.
