from buzzards lot, went up to top of first mtn, then turned around and went back down, then took path beyond horseshoe trail turn...took that path that eventually lead down to the main road. i backtracked, then took an off-trail up mtn to top, back tracked down, then took horseshoe trail for a mile, turn around and then took another off trail up to top......i used trecking poles. snow and ice at some spots...hiked most of it. it was good to go exploring...got some good elevation.
