It didn't go well today...

It was almost impossible to stay below MAF running, I had to go back to walking very often, and even then my HR sometimes went above MAF. So halfway I decided not to try to run anymore, and walked instead.

Reason? No idea... I slept very good the last nights, but my previous 'bad' run was also in the morning.

I was wearing my New Balance shoes, that I seldom wear, after heaving read yesterday that the Saucony Trigon Ride 4 is a shoe that's optimal for heavy heel strikers. And since I want to make a transition to barefoot running, that didn't seem the right choice anymore.

And I must admit, when wearing my Sauconys, it's almost impossible to 'midstrike', and with these NB's, it came very easy...
