Tough run, not sure if it was because of the mid-long tempo run last evening and then turning around and doing this long run the following morning or what. I have kinda questioned in my head the rationale of this program doing this - a mid-long tempo run the day before a long run. My legs were pretty well trashed by the end of this run. My knees got sore about mid-way through the run and my right lower leg inside and down to the ankle was sore and also, in the last 2.5 to 3 miles of the run I got that pain in the top lateral side of my right foot again. It was a more difficult run than I thought it would have been and was harder than even my longest runs to date, but I had rested the days prior to both my longest run days, which I may do from here on out. The first mile and a half I ran with Tammy. My splits were:
