4 miles warmup (HR-137)
4 miles tempo (HR-162)
1 mile cool down (HR-150) - most of the cool down was on a gradual uphill.
This was a good tempo run, and about 10 seconds per mile faster than I expected. I turned off auto lap on my Garmin so I wouldn't get discouraged with a slow mile split, and I focused on running a pace that felt sustainable if I was running a one-hour race and wanted to be able to push the pace at the end. Worked out well.
