Notes

Chris,

Another solid week of training. I noticed that your body was tired, that may be due to the combination of the strength workouts and increase in miles. Keep the mileage steady and the workouts going and you will begin to feel better once your body catches up with the exertion. I know it is difficult to control when you take your days off and when you are able to run, but the runs on consecutive days are going to contribute to your dead legs. It will get better, keep at it.

I also think that what is happening is that you are running at a faster pace on ALL of your runs, so that may be leading to the tiredness. On the easy days, go easy to ensure that you are recovering and getting your rest.

We will add in a track workout this week and try to keep the mileage where it is or get it up a bit, depending on how all is going. You can shuffle the days around, just be smart about it.

Mon - Easy run (I think this is your on Monday?), 6-8 miles. Keep this run easy. After a few days off or easy, you should begin to feel better and get that tired feeling out of your system.
