plan was to run my pacing like I'm hoping to for next Saturdays RBR...

1st mile 8:45

2nd mile 8:15

3-5 miles 7:30-7:45

I tried to focus alot on my breathing and making sure to take deep breaths and not allow my breathing to be labored or out of control like it was this past Saturday on my 13.1 mile run.

Today was perfect....long deep breaths and I didnt do any sprints to engage glutes but constantly was squeezing my glutes and telling myself to push with glutes for easier running.

1st mile was a bit faster then I hoped and 2nd mile was much faster, but I kept trying to slow down and my breathing was very relaxed.

I felt very relaxed even with miles 3-5 being 7:32 pace. I felt like I could have done many more at this pace!!!!

If I hadn't decided to do a slow .2 mile jog when I was done, I would have ran 5 miles in 39:10 or 7:50 pace!!!
