plan was to start like I would in the River Bank Run. I think mile 2 was too fast though. I quickly went to sub 8:00 pace and should have slowly worked my way down from maybe 8:30 to 7:55 or so...I think my legs would have felt much better as I was so ready to be done with the speed after the 5 miles.

my hope/goal was to average 7:30-7:40 during these 5 fast miles. My avg pace was 7:30 but my legs were really tired...part of this could be that last week was 67 miles and last Saturday was 22 miles but if my legs are that tired after 5 miles of sub 8, I'm in trouble at the River Bank Run. Looking forward to my taper so my legs can be fresher!!!
