Another split workout. I don't think it is smart to run 8 x 800 two days after a grueling 20 miler. Ugh. I did one mile w/u and 2 x 800 at the fitness center at a 8:00 pace. Then later tonight I did 4 x 800 at 8:05-8:15 pace with .5 w/u and .5 cool down. I also had about .5 in recovery. This was tough. The temp being 30 degrees hotter than Saturday didn't help either. It was 86 during the evening run and about 80 in the fitness center. This was a confidence killer. I am so discouraged.
