1k @ T (60s R), 3x (600 @ CV, (60s R), 200 @ mile (60s R), 200 @ mile (30s R), 400 @ Vo2 (3m R)) + 2x150
Went into this thinking it would be much more difficult than it actually was (probably because I did the opposite on Friday lol). I sort of just felt like I was cruisin' on each section of the workout, even the 200's and the 400's surprisingly. We were ahead of pace on literally everything but I didn't feel like I was pushing it at all so I think it was okay for today! It was a movin' and groovin' kind of day and I had a lot of fun! Promiscuous girl came on and Riley and I sang back and forth to each other (I was Timbaland). Overall, great confidence booster and just a lot of fun, which I think I really needed!
UM ALSO was shook beforehand because we went over who was racing what and literally everyone else is in the mile and I'm in the 3k?! I was like "Damn, Chapman really went through the list of us assigning the mile to everyone and then when he got to my name, he said 'that bitch can't run a mile to save her life' and stuck me in the 3k lol". While I do prefer the 3k over the mile, I wasn't really sure I wanted to run it when everyone else was doing the mile haha. Spitz told me it's because I'm on the schedule of only racing every other week, so most of the girls will probably 3k the next weekend when I'm off, which made a lot more sense. Then he said "There's a girl from UNI in it with a 10:30" and I jokingly was like "OMG is it Mia Rampton?" because she's my archnemesis and then he said "Actually...I think it is" and I was like "NO WAY". Anyway, so the goal is to absolutely DESTROY HER because she is a bitch, and I know I say that about everybody but she actually is a bitch. She sold me a pair of spikes from shoeshack once in highschool and told me they were distance spikes, BUT they were sprinter spikes and I got a STRESS FRACTURE from them so now I have TrAUmA. And she's always wearing that stupid ass purple headband every time she races, I guarantee you she's going to wear it Friday. I don't know what it is about that thing but I don't like it and imma rip it off her head mid race when I pass her. 10:30 sounds like a tall order but I am going to beat her or die trying!
