800 @ T, 400 @ I, 3x600 @ CV, 3x300 @ M, 3x150
Last workout of the season! Did it solo since Riley is working out tomorrow. 800 was a wee bit fast since I ran behind Aubs, and I also accidentally cooked the first 600 too haha, but I felt like I was in a pretty good rhythm throughout. Sickness is definitely still there but I felt much better during this workout than I did during the tempo last Friday, so I'm not too worried about it. This workout was a lot longer than I was expecting it to be, it wasn't really a taper workout in my opinion but I also think it's good to get something substantial in so it feels like a "normal" week haha. I felt sort of fast on the 300's and 150's, and a lot of people told me I looked like I was flying, so that was a nice confidence boost! SO excited for tomorrow and everything to come after! I never would've imagined myself to be a contender for this meet so I am very grateful for the opportunity and will make sure to take full advantage of it.
