Hit up the treadmill for this one since it was 0F and like -5F real feel outside and still a bit icy. Wasn't super sure what to expect out of this since I hadn't run hard since Chicago and recovering from last week's sickness.

I figured since the longest rep was only a mile I could still crank out sub 5 without too much trouble, and that was the case as the miles felt smooth and strong. The 1k's I felt like I was all out sprinting but by the time they started to get hard I usually only had less than a minute left of the rep. And the 200 strides felt super fast.

Took a Maurten 100 gel after the WU and after the miles and also sipped on NUUN endurance (same flavor that will be on course at CIM) and it all settled fine.

All in all a really good workout and gives me confidence that I'm still pretty damn fit. Excited for the long progression run on Saturday, hoping I can rip some miles at and below goal marathon pace at the end
