My mantra was SEE (Smile, Ease into it & Enjoy). I kept it in mind but my breathing was very hard. I was in 2nd place for quite a while but then a kid came out of nowhere and passed me like I was standing still. The winner was a guy in his 20's who ran a 22:36 (only in a charity run!). The kid who passed me and got 2nd was about 25 min. Came down with a case of the dreaded dry heaves at 2.6 mi. I got coffee from a local shop for my prize. There were no AG awards so if I hadn't beat the guy about 20 sec behind me, I wouldn't have got an award!
