Coach Neely wanted me to get into a rhythm with these 6 x 1k intervals, grind it out & build strength. I did grind it out but then on the last one, felt like I had to go to the well just to hold the pace and my bucket came up dry. That's why there isn't a 0.62 mi split but shorter ones where I tried to rally. Switched to wear test shoes for the CD (I knew if I kept them near the path instead of in the car it would be too easy to use switching shoes as an excuse to quit grinding!). According to Whoop, recovery is normal today and it gave this run a 17.4 Strain Score. It also says "Building aerobic capacity. You spent 53 minutes at 80-90% of of your max HR."
