HRV 61 with meter green/9. HR went as low as 39.5. Weekly CV is down to 7.5% so that's awesome!

Plan - Lactate Threshold: 2mi WU, 3x1mi at 8:20 on 400 jog, 4x30sec hard on 90sec easy, 1mi CD

Felt great and lots of positive self-talk during the WU. The 1st mile at the track went pretty well but the effort to get close to 8:20 was way more than I expected. The 2nd mile was horrible and I got the dry heaves when it was over. HR almost hit my max of 174. Hopefully the idea is that these types of run help raise the max (subject to age limits). I stopped, took a drink and talked to my Coach like she was there! "Neely, this isn't fun any more." Gathered my courage and did the 3rd one but in spite of all the effort, the pace dropped off. The first two were 8:23 & the third one was @8:37 and I couldn't finish it after 800m. At least I finished the rest of the workout!
