Mentally tough. Maybe because jumping up 2 miles? Whoop gave this a 18.5 Strain Score, so that is really high. Coach Neely says this run is "typically a big fitness gainer as the mitochondria kick into gear and remember how to work for you. Did you get in enough fluids and fuel during this run?" My answer: Could have hydrated more beforehand. Sipped on my water bottle until mile 8, when I circled back to here to fill it with Skratch instead of just water. No other fuel so that might have been part of it! Need to pay attention to thoughts about food and my weight.
