800's sesh with Coach's instructions to do 5 of them sub-4 with 400 recoveries. Actual 3:57, 3:52, 4:00, 4:01 & 3:58.

Initial note to Coach: Very happy with how this went! Looks like I took the 2nd 800 too fast, though, and paid for it with the next 2. A few hours later: Just noticed the HR data too (I don't look at it while I'm running) and yeah, 170 during that interval was too high, into the anaerobic. Similar workout in Oct. but you had me do one more and I only hit 167 and that was on the last one. Hopefully I can be more consistent with being mindful of the effort level, but it's hard to be that precise where a few seconds can make a difference, for someone like me that has no track racing experience.
