Plan: 2mi WU, 3 sets of (3x400 starting at 2:15 and working to 2:05 on 100 jog with 400 jog between sets) 2mi CD. Actual: 2:03, 2:10, 2:12, 2:09, 2:06, 2:07, 2:04, 2:06, 2:06. Breathing was controlled until the 3rd set. My legs are like cooked noodles! Massage scheduled Monday. Whoop gave this a 15.3 Strain Score. Had a very positive thought during this workout. There was a church across the street and I remembered the quote from Eric Liddell in Chariots of Fire, "When I run I feel His pleasure." How blessed I am to have this body! In this town of 100,000, there are maybe a dozen runners my age in this kind of shape, 20 if you add cyclists, and of course some do both like me.
