Not at all what I planned. Coach Neely's plan [2mi WU, 8x800 at 4:20-4:10 on 400 jog, 1mi CD]. During my warm up, noticed there were guys running at the high school track so I turned back to the park. Without a conscious thought, guess the heat overtook me after the 3rd 800. Now I see it was in the 80's and very humid. I'm a little disappointed that I cut the workout so short, but in the big picture, I know it's not a big deal. Treated myself to a little self-love in the form of take out breakfast afterwards! Have experienced enough busted workouts to know that just because a workout sucked doesn't mean that I suck.
