Talked to a oryx. He ran away. How rude! First time on the Achenbach loop. Sharon & I took the dogs to the actual trailhead once but it was nasty weather that day and we turned back. Parts of the trail are not runnable, for me anyway! Glad to see cairns up there because it would be easy to lose the trail. Didn't have to look at the Gaia GPS app much. I feel ready for Sierra Vista now.
