Will hopefully update with results later. Thought I ran the first mile in 8:00 and then fell off but apparently I did a better job pacing myself than that! Just proves I didn't watch my watch much, which is a good thing. I felt great afterwards, like I didn't race it hard enough, but I see from my HR that I almost did go all out. I think 190 is my max in a 5k.
2nd edit-the official results are in and apparently I didn't push the stop button quick enough because my offiical time was 16:09.78!
