RD said it was 4.9. Garmin says 4.48. I'm going with Garmin for this.
Tough course, lots of ups and downs. Not overly technical, though.
I raced this. I raced against people, which was nice. I wore the Garmin, but it neither hurt nor hindered. I managed to pass some people early on, get a somewhat decent position, spent the whole race fighting them off. Managed to pick up another guy around mile 3, but he was on my ass the rest of the way, and shot past me in the last 200 meters. By that point, I was done, so I couldn't go with him at all.
This was race #2 in the series, with one more to go. They use cumulative time, and I'm currently in third by :55. Four weeks until next race.
