Temp 46 (39) Wind 13 mph.

Warm-Up. About 15:00 minutes of jogging and drills with a couple of very short strides mixed in to hardwire. Not sharp. Jogging sluggish and drills sloppy.

Move over to parking lot across street and do one extended strider into the wind and one with it at my back. Dialing in 10K effort. Average 6:29 into wind and 6:06 with it at my back. Maybe this won't be so bad? Go change into racing flats, hydrate, lose the outer layer, come back and do it again. Average 6:45 and 6:49. Turned ugly again.
