Long Run. CBEM originals on a post-race day. About five miles of jogging, drills, and striders to warm-up and shake out.
Wanting some time on the grass to start prep for XC Nationals in a few weeks. Change into flats and make some big loops around the park for a total of four plus miles. Full mile splits 8:06 / 7:53 / 8:07 / 7:47.
Back in trainers for about three miles of cool-down jogging. Clouds getting heavy and wind picking up. Chill says this is enough. Nothing shabby about a twelve plus day.
