Temp 58 Winds Calm. Humidity 97%.
Long Run with Hammer. Foggy start to morning, but burning off quick. Just easy jogging post-race day. Hashing out yesterday's state record efforts and Brandon's performance at SCHS's district championship win over favorite Herky. Left Arena Park and headed downtown to get a run-through of new 5KFVS route. Lots of turns. Had streets wrote down on scrap of paper and we still got lost. Couple of detours on way back to run through parking lots looking for coins.
Half-time hydration and GU break back at AP, then an out-and-back on the north trail. Shannon D. and Jamie about the only folks out this a.m. Back at Arena and walk a cool down lap. He's up 4 cents to 1 cent, but then runs up the score with another penny. Much needed recovery day of biking and mowing planned for Monday.
