Temp 74 Winds Calm. Humidity 91% Dew Point 71 degrees.
Recovery Run. More Easy than Recovery. First three mile splits 8:52 / 8:51 / 8:50. Guess this was a progression run? No soreness from Sunday. Even at twice the distance, 6:40 m/m miles don't quite put the same kind of pounding on the legs as those ran at sub-5:00.
Finding my mind-set moving away from running good times towards racing for wins and losses. May be a good thing with July full of 5Ks in hot / humid weather on hilly / curvy monstrosities of courses.
Some concern over two weeks of lost volume due to racing. Only 10 hours of running in 14 days. May pay for it late in a race or two.
