Stomach troubles past two days left me without much gas (no pun intended) for today's run. Went out too quickly, wasn't consistent with pace, and the hills during 6th, 7th miles hit me hard.
Ran today with headphones for the first time ever. While I enjoyed listening to the Twins, I felt less connected to my body, stride, breathing, pacing, etc.. Also, footing was tough, with lots of huge puddles, some ice, and plenty of slush.
Left toes clenched for a bit during end of run. Not sure what that was about.
Longest run YTD, and despite what I just wrote, I felt pretty good.
