Warm-up (minimum 1.5 miles)
6 miles at marathon goal pace (7:26-8:01) (3:15 - 3:30 marathon goal time)
First tempo run of season. Clearly, I need to get more consistent on the pace. Still, I fell within the wide range for each split, but would like splits to get within 5-10 seconds of each other by later in the training season.
27° with 5-10mph winds.
Gear: Nike combat tights, short sleeve, long sleeve, blue pullover, gloves, hat.
Felt pretty good, all in all. Got cold after I reduced pace at the end of the tempo segment.
