13° windchill, 17 mph winds, snowing, with surfaces ranging from snow-covered ice, to clear, to everything in between.
Started running without Yaktrax, but it was slick enough that I stopped to put them on after less than a mile. Felt fine most of the run. One of the steel coils snapped off the rubber of the Yaktrax (at about mile 3.5), got tired by around mile 5, but picked up some steam last few miles. Got a stitch in left shoulder blade at mile 9.2.
Longest run YTD by about 2 miles, and felt like I could have gone longer. Very pleased with my progress thus far.
