34 degrees out and 16 mph winds, great day for a run but not the best when it came to working out. Headed towards Lisle Park and thought that would be a good place but no matter what I did I couldn’t escape the wind. Just tried to make the best of it and ended up doing circle loops so that way the reps were split between going into the wind/with the wind.. I always want my recovery pace to be close to 6:00 since I am really noticing the benefit from active recovery; so I didn't care about the fast parts just so much as the effort was consistent and the times weren't too far off from my first rep. Overall I am enjoying these kinds of workouts! Gonna do a slow shakeout later just for a little extra mileage
