Nice morning for a race, Gabe and McCann were racing, and from the start it was the 3 of us and a high schooler, I was surprised the first mile was in ~5:25, I was expecting to run ~18 but I was feeling pretty good. The 2nd mile I tucked behind those two. A little after 2 miles, I was back a little bit, and Gabe had fallen behind McCann a little, so I rolled hard to catch Gabe, and kept going. When I passed McCann, that woke him up and he latched on, and I payed a bit for not knowing the last half mile of the course, since McCann knew exactly where we were. He ended up winning pretty fairly and I came in 2nd for $50 which is always good.
