Yes I did say I wanted my long runs <2 hours this cycle, but... eh. Today I was surprised that I wasn't fully hydrated at the start, and I just took it easy. Sewall St is wonderful to run on for the shade, and the 2 big hills on this run didn't feel as bad as I thought they would.

First long run with the GPS/heart rate monitor, I was surprised at how consistent my heart rate was over the rolling hills on Sewall, I guess those 8 years of training have shown me how to keep effort consistent. It's a comforting thing to know that I'm running at "easy" or "tempo" or "interval" pace by how my legs feel and then the hrm is validating that I'm in the proper aerobic band (rather than the hrm telling me what easy is)
