Not nearly as hard as the 12-8-4-4-8-12, or the 4 mile tempo assigned for today, but I gained a lot of confidence from this workout, especially since I ran it so much in high school. It felt so much easier, and I was running it faster than I ever did back then. This confidence that I'm in far better shape than I was when I ran 17:30 for a Sunken Meadow 5k was something that was lacking last year (see linked workout).
This season's gonna be sick.
