Notes
Wayland XC 5k, part of the USATF-NE XC Grand Prix (should get a shirt with that acronym on it so people stop giving me crap for the NYSFSSAA shirt).
Last year this race was won in 16:30 and I thought it was a GP race last year too, so I thought I would be closer to the front, but GBTC brought a large team, Sean Duncan and WMDP was there, and Lutz was there with BAA, so I was 20th (16:30 would have been 7th)
The 2nd mile was very twisty, windy, bumpy, rhythm sapping, almost single track in parts, and just a very slow mile. I'm fairly certain I was not passed after the mile mark, which was good, and I was strong enough to get back under 5:30 pace, and pass a bunch of people in the last mile.
