Miles 2 and 3 kind of sucked with the wind, and I was probably a little wimpy. After the turn around, a pack including the 3/4 place women caught up to me, I rolled with them, and didn't let any of them beat me. Made the last mile hurt, and then Jared and Bobby were in a good spot before the last hill/finish to get me really going. Finish was a little confusing because one of the other finish lines was a little before ours so it was tough to see where to go/how much was left.
Season best for 8k, of course I ran 28:01 on XC
