So, the workout was supposed to be in pairs, where one guy runs a 2k, and the other one runs the second 1k with him, almost racing. Then, after 2:30 rest, the pair switches roles.

Of course I had to run this one alone. I was pleased with how this workout went, even with my cold. My individual 1ks were pretty conservative, and so was the first half of the first 2k. I just really focused on running hard the second half of the 2k's. It was a good mental workout for me too, I had to try to visualize catching people to keep myself motivated and sharp, at least on Saturday, I won't have to visualize the 1 blue and 1 green singlet I'll have to catch in the last 3k at Moore. Salty D challenged me to go top 3, and if I'm as sharp as I was today, I might be able to get it.
