Worked out with the team. 2x(1600, 6x200) with 200 recoveries, 1600's at tempo pace, 200's fast (most people were assigned 31-33), good shot of speed, haven't hurt like that in a while. Coach was wondering where the 3rd set was :)
When I told him I hadn't done any speed work he said "What? you don't need any speed for a half?" I figure for the first one I could get away without it :) Sunday I've got the 5k, next Wednesday I've got 2x2 mile @ half pace, and then Sunday's the day.
