It's been 18 days and 178 miles since my last day off. I also haven't cut back mileage in technically 4 weeks, and really in 7 weeks, and my legs have been feeling the build. I'm reminded of my earlier conversation with Lane about balancing quality and quantity, and I feel that the past 6 days, the quality hasn't been what it should be, the 29:07 5-miler and slow MLR yesterday and last week especially come to mind (I really want to be able to run those at 6:40- 7:05 pace). I spent today starting Running with the Buffaloes, planned out my off days for the Cross Country season (hopefully I'll only need 5), and getting some strength training in. I'm still going to run 65 miles this week.
