Niiiiiiiiiiiiice weather :) Felt like fall! Was able to see some benefit of hot summer training in my pace which was 9:25.
I liked the way I fueled today.
Banana on way to park
1 hr of run then took a peanut butter gu, mile 6
1 hr and 30 min took a razzleberry gu (only about 30 mins left to run) mile 9
--no gatorade, water seems to be sufficient witht he gu
Having the fuel close together helped. Could be psychological but I'm gonna keep fueling like I did today on long runs and race day. I might push my last gu back to mile 10 during the race.
Need to shed about 5lbs.
