Notes
Day 2 - Another morning of perfect running weather :) Was raining when we left house, rain stopped when we got to Windcrest. Ran a 4 mile route with some hills. Ran with Braison again :) He's my boy!
Wore ankle brace again and ankle felt fine. Glad that my training program has me starting at 10 min/mile pace so that I start off slow and do not re-injure or stress my ankle to much. It is hard to slow down to a 10min/mile pace though. I look down at my watch and had to slow myself down, often! Stick to the program Mel!
Mistakes from last years training:
1. Training with only water and GU on long runs ( Need a sports drink for electrolyte replacement )
2. Pacing to quickly on alllll my runs. ( need to hold back to conserve energy throughout training program)
3. Running an extra mile or two to build endurance. ( haha, a 17 mile run already shows endurance, I don't
need to make it 19! DUH! Besides the 19 miler will probably be the next weeks run anyway!)
4. XTrain on my days off.
