Perfect day to race. When out pretty fast, although I felt like I was running slow, but the effort felt really hard. Missed mile marker 1, but crossed 2 at 13:08. I remember checking my watch at 3 and thinking I ran a 6:50, which would have put me at 20:00. Mile 4 was at 27:02, I think, so I must have slowed down quite a bit. I'm really not in shape to run fast, but hoping to race into shape this spring. Next up, a 5k in a few weeks.
